I'm finally back on the outfit post bandwagon. Thought I'd start with one of my favourite striped tops. Finding it was quite the mission, but I got it in the end! (Half price and hung up in Harvey Nichols, definitely the first place to look for sold out pieces.)

IF I COULD, I WOULD.

If I could bring myself to spend money to buy this suitcase, I would. (But I can't. The price starts at £1,175.) This is the baby of Sophie Hulme's collaboration with Globe Trotter. And let me tell you, it is perfection. Sophie Hulme's signature gold details give Globe Trotter's traditional suitcase that modern edge. If you ever see me running around with this baby on my arm, you'll know I've made it!

ANTONI&ALISON TEA ROOM OPENING

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the opening of the Antoni&Alison tea room opening, situated on the top floor of their corner shop. We got served amazing victorian sponge cake and tea, in their tea room. 

We also watched a film in their basement of their runway footage from 12 years ago held at the Cambridge theatre because London Fashion Week told them back then that they weren't 'designer' enough. I asked Antoni if he'd ever go back to doing things in theatres, he said he's happy now to do things the normal way now. They were first on the LFW SS13 schedule.

P.S, the girl in the film is actually a boy. They discovered him and thought he was fantastic, so they decided to put make up on him, give him fake boobs and stuck him in the show. Another one of the models went on to become one of the editors at French Vogue.

ON SET.

On set yesterday with Amber Atherton from Made in Chelsea and an amazing shoot team. It ran so smoothly, it was an editor's dream. The bow tie she's wearing is from her own jewellery shop MyFlashTrash.

These are the shoes I wear the most at the moment, trying to wear them as often as possible before it gets too cold! The leopard print adds to my usual all black outfit. Plus they were only £20!

OVER WORK.

So LFW has come and gone.  And I have to say, with the magazine deadline and the craziness of fashion week I ended up overworking myself, and making myself ill! So I missed out on half of LFW, I thought it best to put my body first and spent it in bed recovering.  But here's a video I shot around Somerset House for Tattoologist.  Hope it gives you a feel for what Somerset House is like during LFW!

This week has been insane, between the magazine print deadline, running Tattoologist, preparing for London Fashion Week and replacing the entire kitchen!

So I haven't really had a moment to blog recently, but I'll try my best to blog about the invites above when I have the time!
